IBT History
Always Dependable Service was incorporated in December of 1994 in the Province of Ontario, Canada. ADS began as a distributor, manufacturer and on site re-builder for replacement components and service of air and airless shotblast equipment. The equipment was originally sold under trademark names such as Wheelabrator®, Pangborn® and BCP®.
Hard work and dedicated customer service have enabled ADS to build a respected reputation within the industry. In 1997, management concluded that the demand across North America supported the expansion of the company with the New & Used Equipment Division.
In order to accommodate the rapid growth, ADS acquired their building at 340 Hatt St. Dundas, Ontario in 2003. The location comprises 38 000 sq. ft., 3 ten-ton cranes with 28 ft. clear under the hook, which enables ADS to provide service and assembly of larger equipment than most competitors. Other capabilities are welding, fabricating, water jet, plasma cutting, machine shop services, electrical rewiring, PLC electrical upgrades and pre-start health & safety reviews.
We welcome Peen and Clean®, a contract peening & cleaning company with over 30 years of experience to the ADS Group. The acquisition of Peen and Clean® was finalized in June of last year. Located just off the QEW in Burlington, Peen and Clean® offers a multitude of surface preparation services with a wide variety of shotblast equipment.
Always Dependable Service Inc.® prides itself on being the largest re-builder of shotblast equipment in Canada. Shot blast machines are used for a wide variety of cleaning or peening applications, from small automotive parts to rail cars and ships. Regardless of the task ADS has the capability to rebuild your equipment. No shotblast machine is too small or big for ADS qualified technicians to handle.
